Tim Fitzpatrick
Owner

Tim Fitzpatrick has been a DJ since 1978. His first behind-the mic experience was with a small High School radio station (which he started). He was the announcer for a Saturday morning radio program through his senior year in high school. While working on his Bachelor's degree in broadcasting from Northern Illinois University, he freelanced playing clubs and producing radio spots. Tim spent 8-years as head disc jockey at a top-rated Illinois entertainment complex. During this time, he started his own mobile DJ company (Budget DJ) in 1983 and never looked back. Tim has play well over 1000 events and several hundred weddings. Tim brings a level of experience to every booking that is unheard of in this industry. If you are planning a wedding in Naperville, or a corporate picnic or awards banquet in Wheaton, you can be assured of quality experienced entertainment with Tim.

Dan Sauer
Disc Jockey

The newest addition to Star One DJ is, in no way a new addition to the industry. Dan Sauer has been DJ'ing almost as long as Star One's owner, Tim. Dan began his DJ career while still in high school performing as part of a 1979-1980 local radio program. After serving in the U.S. military stationed in Germany (and performing in clubs in his free time), Dan returned to the states and joined Tim playing events at the same top-rated entertainment complex in 1986 (where he stayed for 6 years). It was at this time that Dan also started his own mobile DJ company, Pegasus Music Service. Dan has played over 1000 events including numerous weddings and parties. In 1995, Dan decided to retire from DJ'ing and hung up the headphones.
However, no DJ ever retires forever. It's 2004, and Dan has been hit with the DJ bug once again. Rather than try to rebuild his own DJ company from scratch, he chose to join Star One DJ. Dan brings the level of DJ experience and excitement that Star One DJ customers demand.
