As a 1985 Broadcast Communications Graduate from Northern Illinois University, Owner and Disc Jockey Tim Fitzpatrick is very familiar with the DeKalb area. He has been performing behind the mic since 1978 and playing mobile dates all over Northern Illinois since 1983. Specializing in weddings, Star One provides more experience than most other services, and we do so at affordable reasonable rates. Star One opened in 1983 under the original name of Budget DJ. We were the low-cost leader back then, and we still are today. But, low rates do not mean low quality. With over two decades of wedding reception experience coupled with our professional sound system and light show, you won't beat our value or our professionalism.
